Meanwhile down on the beach is a simple blog, usually featuring my dog, and
always featuring the sand, the sea and the views from Bournemouth beach.
It is easy to update most days using the tumblr app on my iphone4. It is based
around pictures and video clips with very few words. Words, pictures and video
are usually produced using the phone and often uploaded from the beach.
I have discovered a couple of useful additional apps to help me capture the
scene.
Photosynth from microsoft helps me to stitch together panorama shots.
These are uploaded to the phone’s camera roll and then added to tumblr.
My latest free app is Gif Cam, which allows me to create the hyperactive and
repetitive little clips, which are so popular on tumblr. Gif Cam allows you to
share by sns to your tumblr blog. I have yet to capture a truly alluring GIF as my
dog Jimmy tends to move around enough on his own.
